BBC have the ultimate collection of Doctor Who sounds---including bits from the current series. (...wipes drool...) Which should be the login sound? The logout sound? The new mail sound? Entering/exiting IM? Oh goodness.

Tried a few months ago to make the T.A.R.D.I.S. noise my ringtone. Didn't work. Feckin Nokia.
ReplyDeleteDo you remember if it was because it was an MP3? I had that problem just now trying to do exactly what you describe (because I was inspired and really don't like the bit of work I'm doing just this moment). I had to convert it into a WAV file (Linux commands to the rescue) which the phone swallowed up via Bluetooth and has played properly so far.
ReplyDeleteI'll be interested to see if this one's better received around other workers compared to the behavior of "Message for you, Sir!" which prompted me to call out around the room (there are eight of us when I'm in the office): "Focus, FOCUS on your work!" to the laughter of the again-distracted.
