I was in conversation with SL, and mistyped feisty as fe-sity
However it struck me that if ob-esity is being overweight maybe fe-sity is an overabundance of something else...
Google tells me that Fe is the symbol for Iron in the Periodic Table of Elements (brief flashback to sitting on a high stool in a Chemisty Lab and wondering what I could toast using the Bunsen burner)
Anyway, I reckon Fe-sity - is an overabundance of iron... In other words someone with an excess of grit and determination...
She's a Fesity one...
It may not catch on...

I've a lack of iron and therefore I'm aneamic, I'd rather be defested ? unfested ? underfested? See a side affect of the defestation is a wandering mind.... Explains a lot, huh?

ReplyDeletePersonally I've always been tempted by a defenestration. Anything historic works for me, Jan Hus 1418, 30 Years War 1618, they all loved a bit of throwy-out-de-windowy.
Anyway C No.2, I never did chemistry (don't know much about...) but I know fe is iron from an episode of blockbusters circa 1988, I think it was because the person who answered that particular question looked like someone big in my head at the time. Ah the memories.... I'll have a P please Bob.
Does having fe-sity and being Irish therefore lead to you having O'Fe-sity? Just a thought. Thank you, I'm here all week. Tip your waitress, try the veal.
