Bankers

Am I the only person who doesn't feel a whit of sorrow for the Irish Northern Rock customers who were queuing outside its only Irish branch this morning looking to get all their cash out?

I know in theory I should, but have a look at some of the people in this report on RTE News and remember that the minimum deposit anyone has with the bank in Ireland is €100,000.

It's all jealously, I know.

  1. Why did they feed the hysteria by announcing the loan in the first place. First step in how to not get your bank back together. Now there's definitely a conspiracy theory in here too.

Maybe if I had 10k I'd queue too, but I'm with you SL, let them queue.
