Protecting the Hill of Tara

A visiting friend and I were on our way to see "Kicking a Dead Horse" at the Abbey Theatre. Walking from Tara along the quays, we somehow timed it perfectly to see a protest march crossing over the O'Connell Bridge. They were calling for the Taoiseach to halt construction of the controversial M3 motorway through the ancient Hill of Tara. Bravo them!
