When Anonymous Bloggers meet...

Imagine if you will for a moment, what it is like to be one of Master Mysterion's Wordsmiths here at the humble For Nine Pounds Blog...

Sure, on the surface its a bustling community, full of thoughtful posts, supportive comments and even the occasional reader who isn't also a writer...

But, behind the scenes... Phew...

It's a tyranny of terror, frequent emails and texts demanding fresh words for the magnificent Blog Machine...

Plus, no one knows who anyone is... although I suspect some of the Anonymous Bloggers have been hooking up in the draft post section...

So, now, Our Overlord, who must be worshipped (and now apparently has lima bean fields we're going to have to work in), has declared we're having a communal event...

A communal, presumably, anonymous event...

Interesting...

I can only assume the event will take place in whichever is Ireland's largest internet cafe... As there are now 17 writers (and two readers)...

We'll all have to arrive at different times, bring our own drinks and interact only by posting on the Blog...

No contact, laughing out loud, or trying to read your neighbours screen...

At least, we can all be sure on that day we will be posting our requisite number of times...

  1. I still think a masked/fancy dress ball is a much better idea. Each of us dresses up inspired by our names. Can't wait to see what a Midget Wrangler would look like.

  2. Oh god, I have opened a terrible can of worms now. Not sure folk want to do the whole meet thing, well at least it means more booze for me and SL with the hidden google ads money.

  6. Jesus Shan now everyone's going to start looking for a cut!

So, so far we have a Domiknitrix, a girl arriving just wet and a secret Eyes Wide Shut devotee. When are we doing this again?

I shall be coming in a shark outfit, of course.

  7. There are so many blogs out there, who among us has time to read them all, or even to read some of them? But I happened upon your group blog and I really like it. I mean, I feel like you're all kindred spirits.

I hope you will invite me to join your blog. (Not that I need another blog, LOL! I seem to create new blogs every week, kind of like parallel universes branching out from every possibility.)
I'm in Florida, although I don't feel like I belong here.

If I am invited to join your blog, I'll ask the following question (which is an offshoot of your "How old are you in your head" question): Where do you feel like you should really be living?

    Judy (formerly of Manhattan)
