Similar to an Orgy, but with bloggers instead! A Blorgy!
You don't make this easy on us do you Shan? After careful thought (and knowing how much I like your stuff anyway) I plump for the jelly baby terracota warriors and the shaft of light on the tower/church.
ReplyDeleteAlmost went for the moon because I was there when you took it :)
nice one SL thanks for that input. I shall let you know the results of this on Wednesday morning.
ReplyDeleteI like the sea ones, including the pebbles and bottle. If I had to pick one, I think I'd have to go for the waves breaking on the rock/pier thing. Because I like it so much - not sure if it's the most impressive. But it speaks to me!
ReplyDeleteNo. 5 - The shaft of light on the church...
ReplyDeleteBut then it's difficult - I like the Jellycotta Warriors... I also really like the red shoe with the shadow...
Because I know how difficult it can be too shoot, I also like the wind and waves and the gulls battling...
Hmmm... Red Shoe i think - simple dramatic, poignant because it's a single childs shoe
C No. 2
Love the JellyBabies. And the snail. And the moon (you were there that night?! Now I'm going to go through photos of the day, cause I was there too!)
ReplyDeleteJellycotta Warriors.
ReplyDeleteShow off :P
Wow thanks guys its such a shame I ahve to pick 2 images, I may have a final decision by this evening, but jelly babies is looking strong anyhow number 2 is the hard one.
ReplyDeleteJo you only like them cause they can relate to you! all from Bray seafront.
I think come this evening I shall count all votes and see what the end result is.
Also I should inform folk of my 2 votes now Jelly babies and Glendalough shafts of light, but democracy shall win the day here.
The moon, and the hazy church in the first post,
ReplyDeletethey are my fave not sure why!
Snail and the eclipse. ...but I hate having to select only two. The bridge is great and would have been perfect hadn't that little puffy cloud showed on the lower left-hand corner. Then the Glendalough is beautiful as well, but a bit ordinary. Good luck mate!
ReplyDeleteI like Glendalough...it's very atmospheric!I wasn't there the night of the eclipse, but I like that one too...oh and the snail!
ReplyDeleteThat did occur to me - Bray Seafront speaks to me, I think. And you made the knacker drinkers' debris look artistic!
ReplyDeleteWow what a great response, I think I shall leave this go another day to see who else may comment. I also think I may try to get three pics in because the eclipse tbh means something to irish bloggers who will be looking at the pictures chosen, so I think I should be able to sneak that one in.
ReplyDeleteJelly babies, cos they look gorgeous. And the moon, also super gorgeous! Beautiful photos, all of them.
ReplyDeleteI'm going for Glendalough and out of the shade but its a v tough choice oh I love Bray Waves also
ReplyDeleteBray Waves - a little poem!
ReplyDeleteMy no 1 is the Moon picture followed by the Jellycotta Warriors.
ReplyDeleteI'm the Moon supporters camp. Glendalough, schmendalough, its very nice but a bit seen-this-a-million-times-before style, not as interesting or unusual or striking as the moon picture.
Go moon.
Schmendalough...No way, it's a stunning photo, and as much as I love the moon photo I'd say there will a few of them submitted! The Glendalough photo is so spooky looking very mysterious!
ReplyDeleteit does have an eerie feel, I grant you, but I still prefer the moon...maybe.
ReplyDelete19 comments. Isn't that a record Shan? The snail is starting to sway me. Just thought you should know.
ReplyDeleteAh Someone Living... suprised that the snail crept up on you slowly?
ReplyDeleteSnails can be a bit sluggish...
I do like that photo too - where did you take it Shan?
Well if snail makes the cut all shall be revealed on another blog, if it does not make it I will reveal all here.
ReplyDeleteSorry I know it sounds like a riddle but trust me on this one.
I am going to stop voting here at 5pm today, Tuesday the 28th, cause I need to submit my stuff and write about each image chosen, which for me is the tough part. I am thrilled to see the response here and thrilled also to have a new comment record (even if half the comments are from me).
ReplyDeleteMy next post will explain what this is all about, but in the meantime thanks once again for all your input.
I know Im too late but thats okay cos I got it completely wrong, I skimread and thought it was one of those things where you look at a picture quickly and give your immediate reaction (like inkblot tests!). I thought of something related to 'death' in each one, is that weird??
