Tiberius meets me in the coffee bar this morning. He's just back from a work trip to Wales.
Says "Yeah, you know the way they shoot Dr. Who in the BBC and you know what a TARDIS is?"
"Yes, Tiberius, yes I do. I'm a lifelong fan. I built one myself out of a packing crate in my back garden when I was a kid"
"Yeah, well I was in a TARDIS yesterday"

I don't know - I once had occasion to be in RTE as a child, and sae the Wanderly Wagon - but it wasn't a wagon, it was just a cardboard side... deeply disappointing, never meet your idols, as it were.
ReplyDeleteI have since met someone else who was actually in the Wagon, suggesting that I just saw an extra bit, but I don't know , my belief is still shaken...
