Isn't it depressing?

Have you noticed how dark it's getting?

I taped a specific episode of Supernanny for my husband to watch, but he refused to and then taped over it with his F1 race - including the Shakespeare I had taped on it, clearly labelled, in case I ever get another teaching job...

aquaasho could run up the mountain of ironing I have to do at the moment, and it's an ever growing pile.

Is anyone else finding it hard going?

  1. I know, it's hard, my hubby has a new appriciation of me since I got home from america he is like a different man, more in tune with what's involved! My husband now calls me and often just listens to my complaints and will say, I don't know how you do it, before he would have looked for a solution and then when he couldn't find a solution he would get frustrated!

  2. Excellent. What a result. and what an appropriate husbandly response. Well done, Mr Wrangler. Listening to wifely complaining is an under-rated husbandly skill.

  3. I know, it's only after taking 17 years....Seriously though I am delighted! You know it's early days though and you need to rwmember that your whole life is up in the air at the moment.

  4. It's all always hard going Jo, all the time. Work, kids, home work, relationship, uncaring bloggers who won't post for me, respond to my e-mails or toil in my lima bean fields *sighs again*

Seriously though I frequently wonder how men and women ever stay together. It's not a case of Venus and Mars, rather Shia and Sunni!

  6. What's particularly bad is how dark it's got very quickly in the mornings. I'm up at 4.30am which used to be lovley and bright.

Within 10 days it went pitch black.

I've had the lead on the rest of yis
