My flat feels empty

Having had Shan with family over for 5 days my flat now feels empty. It is odd how quickly you get used to having an extended family. INow I find myself listening for them, although I drove them to the airport last night.

I've found traces of them in my bathrooms. A deodorant, soap and schampoo in one. A bath/body scrub thingy in the other. But part from that there is nothing left. I found myself looking out the balcony door to see if they are out smoking. And I tip-toed in to my kitchen this morning not to wake them, when making my coffee. I miss them!

Oddest thing this morning though, was that I was so sure that Idiot had been here as well. I dreamed of him last night. I was so sure he had been here. (The dream it self was rather boring, we just talked about the bacon wrapped green beans that Shan refused to remeber Idiot talking about last summer.) Great way to prepare and eat beans!

  2. I love having people to stay and always miss them when they leave, the house always seems so quiet! At the same time sometimes you can have visitor overkill and want to wring their necks for over staying their welcome.

  5. Ohhh Dolly that is so nice what you said, we MISS you alot too, had a fantastic time and you were a brilliant Hostess! So much organised for us to do and see it was just fantastic! I'm sorry I didn't get to put those things in the bin, not sure how I missed them (sorry for the mess). I know Rebecca misses you all too especially the girls! She just loved everyone. I would like to thank you again very very very much for everything! Lots of love.

  7. Well I have to say it was a ball, and when you get that camera Dolly you must take a photo of that Fluffy badge for SL to see.

Thanks again for showing us so much of the city and you even made Paula place her first comment woohoo.
