A friend of mine confided in me some time ago and told me that her marriage was in trouble. They were doing their best to patch things up though. I've just seen that her facebook profile has been changed and she no longer lists herself as 'married'.

as someone who has been there I say give her a call, she needs all the friends she can get, and it still suprises me the people who I thought would be there for me found it difficult, people said I'd discover who my real friends were, but it's more that you discover who your strong friends are!

ReplyDeletePeople who are on their own through split ups and death need people to be there so they know they can call any time day or night. sometimes the person in need moves on and the friend who was there at their time of need is pushed away . I realised after a time that I was a reminder of the bad times .So I did'nt get upset as at least I did the best I could.
I think it's rampant. I have 4 close friends who were in long term relationships who've broken up in the last 6 months.

Oh I did mw and she had moved on and found it difficult to talk to me as she had talked very openly about things so maybe it's best not to remind her.
