Adultgebra...

Hmmm...

Had a further thought today about Trigkidnometry today (may be I am going to expand it into a whole thesis, who can tell...?)

My latest observation relates to my haircut. I'm in my mid-30s now and every time I have my hair cut I feel older. Not just feel older, but look older... It's all related to the amount of grey in my hair (I've had it since I was in my late teens so it's no big deal at this stage) Further to this observation I've come up with the formula:

30s + h/c = E x 2 (30-somethings plus a haircut equals feeling elderly multiplied by two)

It's not that my barber doesn't do a great job (he's very, very old school - the sort of shop that has football jerseys and tickets from old football internationals), just that every time I head down there and he gives me usual wonderful thinning out I end up about 1000% greyer than before. I'm told I look great (I never believe that nonsense) yet I'm automatically 50.

Well at least I still have my hair...

  1. Just remind yourself: it's all good because you're not having these thoughts after a Brazilian waxing!

  2. Getting ready for bed, herself makes the comment that I'm growing more hair on my upper torso. And look, more grey hair! In the shoulder, and on the chest. Hmm...

    I wonder...

    Aw crap.

Mr Pot, this is Mrs Kettle...
