Vive la France.......

I'm off to France tomorrow just for the weekend. I love France; the castles, the streets, the mountains, the language, the romance, the people, the weather, Disneyland, everything! Love it all! Except the food. Hate the food. Hate the way it's mostly meat based and the meat is always raw. If it's not meat based it's cheese. UUrrrggghhhhh. Yeuch. Especially goats cheese. Double yeuch. I sound like a kid now but I hate the stuff. I always have a hard time in French restaurants which is why I love McDonalds, at least I know what I'll get if I go there!

    I'm kinda the same, like some cheese though, but the stews and over creamy sauces and offal don't do mush for me! Glad you are getting away for weekend Paris is my favorite city, been there too many times!

    I ate horse in France once, couldn't understand the waiter, thought he was taking about hair for some reason.

    Was quiet nice...

    Thats so funny about the horse and hair!! I'm sure he was a good horsey when he was alive. PS just to make you feel better I have tasted horse salami ages ago and it cerainely wasn't bad...
    If you love French stuff - you'll love this- go and see it..

    There's a restaurant in the Latin Quarter in Paris, just over the bridge from Notre Dame, they serve the full frog. Very off putting.
