He's the man behind Donnie Darko, acclaimed as the debut director of the cult classic. He has a new film coming out in the next few months - Southland Tales (to mixed reviews), and is working on a horror with Cameron Dias (I think).
But apart from his genius he has moments of being stunningly good looking, in a sort of I'd-marry-you-right-now type of way. If you have the original Donnie Darko DVD (as everyone should by law), he features in the extras, looking particularly well. But I have yet to come across his beauty publicly acknowledged; so let me be the one to share it with you.
