Last Christmas, the "Sunday Times" ran a special "Doctor Who" short story written by Paul Cornell, writer of some of the best stories in the current regeneration of the TV series ("Father's Day" in series one and "Human Nature" and "Family of Blood" in series three). It can still be found in the paper's online archive here:
