Starbucks entertainment
Is anyone in town tomorrow evening? The Starbucks on Harcourt St are running acoustic evenings from 5-7 and The Juice are opening it tomorrow. I'm bringing my weenies in to see their Dad play. Pop in and say hello if you're about. There's three other bands too. I'm going to be brave and get the Luas from Sandyford - I hate to admit how freaked I get at the idea of braving public transport with a buggy and a four year old. I think it might be a sort of secret fear of single-motherhood. We'll see - I might have a nicer time searching for parking on Adelaide Road. What do you think?

Luas wil be great. The other way at that time hmmmmm. I will try my best to get in, ut am a lazy git...
ReplyDeleteMe too, don't put yourself out for the sake of half an hour if it's putting yourself out.
ReplyDeleteThere's a Starbuck's on Harcourt Street?
ReplyDeleteOh take the luas. You won't even have to fold the buggy. Best of luck to The Juice!!
ReplyDeleteOo, I don't know. I'll be in Park car, get buggy out, buy tickets in cold, wait for Luas, get off at right stop, walk to gig, do it all again afterwards, get back in car...
ReplyDeleteI lived in Newcastle in Co Wicklow and was at the mercy of the dreaded 84. I've had a phobia of public transport ever since.
I didn't know it was there either Polka. It's round the corner right at the top. They were sort of quiet about that one. I wish it was the Dundrum one, so easy to get to.
JM - I'm a big car person too but given the fact that your destination is right at the Luas stop and it's traffic time I'd probably go luas. But if you can't face it, there's plenty of street parking on Adelaide road nearby.
ReplyDeleteI just might be able to make it. I've to be downtown by 7 but could pop over beforehand.
I might be up to dragging myself and the baby into town, but it depends on if I get the million things that need to be done, done! I'll let you know JO!
ReplyDeleteCrap. Bit more notice next time Jo for us slowbies.
