Maybe I'm alone in this, but I've always thought that there was something a little bit "gay" about guinea pigs (and I'm not talking about the fact that my sister used to dress hers in a dolls dress and push it around in a pram. Which strangely enough, it seemed to enjoy!). No, I mean how they're neat, fastidious little creatures. Well, apparently I'm not the only one because published this week in the US is a new children's picture book, "Uncle Bobby's Wedding" by Sarah Brannen, in which two gay guinea pigs get married!

  1. Two gay guinea pigs.

    What is there to say!

Guinea pig marriage rights - a burning issue for middle America.

Some say they should be treaed the same as other rodents...

  2. Wasn't there something before about gay penguins?

  3. (I won't do the Richard Gere joke, I won't do the Richard Gere joke)

  4. *sigh* Guinea Pig, hamster. There's a difference?

  5. Em. Sizewise, there is, oh loose-assed one!

    Again, sorry about that.

  6. it looks exactly like the kind of book I'd buy for the kids....I have one called "Everybody Poos" and then there is "Where willy went..."
