The key to our lives

I think it's high time we shared about our keys. Yes it's group participation time. Yes God loves a trier.

That said my current key situation is a bit limited, I mean minimalist. I've sheded a load and am left with one big car key, two house keys (back and front, colour coded, brown cover for front door, blue cover for back door), and one work key. I used to have a teddy bear key ring and before a little cow but all I have now is a tiger-lily stone, or something like that. It's supposed to give you power. I got it in a discount book shop in Edinburgh, on my failed Hogmany trip there two years back.

  1. Well I have 3 sets. 1 for home and car, 1 for Work which is a huge bunch, 1 for another store. I have a nice hacketts keyring on my own home set which I like.

  4. One of those giant diamond ring-keyrings from Avoca a friend gave me because I didn't have a diamond engagement ring and people were always unimpressed.

On house key, one car key (not electronic, I think my daughter lost it as a toddler, I miss it so!), one key to my MIL's house. That's it. I had an extra thingy with breast cancer trolley tokens on, but of course I've lost them.

  5. I have no keys, no job, no home - it's a strange existance. Back to reality in a couple of months though.

  7. A single key to my apartment with a zebra patterned reflector. A car key.

Spent the whole day today worrying over my home key. Thinking I had lost it when turning my bag up side down in a bar last night. Always a great game to end a good evening with... "'scuse me, mind your foot sir. Sorry ma'm, I'm not trying to look up your skirt - I'm trying to reach my car key and pen"

  8. Two keys Dolly. Christ how do you stay that organised?!?!?

I have two keys for my parents house, two for MWs house, three for different lockers in work, one for a box I own and at least a couple that seem to serve no real discernable purpose.
