Anyone who knows me well enough knows I have a deep LOVE of all things pink. Even my mountainy type stuff like my pen knife and whistle are pink. So you can imagine my squeels of girly delight when I first saw photos of this.
It's belongs to blogger and landscape gardener Peter Donegan and was part of Bloom 2008 in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. I even dropped by last week during one of my runs in the park hoping to catch a glimpse of it. It wasn't yet open to the public and some security man must've thought I was an absolute nut (semi-naked nut in pink running gear?) looking for a pink boat. Might as well have asked him "Where's the space ship?"
Anyway the thing is......now he has to find a home for it or it ends up in a skip!! Any ideas? Grandad's been writing about it too.
