Idiot Food...

I don't happen to have taken a photo a photo of the gorgeous "exotic" food provided by Jo but here's a selection of some of the "fare" brought by one of the 4nine£ gang.

Idiot Food...
Yes that's actually half a packet of Jaffa Cakes and the Pot Noodle was open...It's like one of those games where you memorise what's in front of and then close your eyes and try to recall them, see if you remember the chocolate Santa...

I'm so glad I don't drink (especially after reading about some of your sore heads) as getting up and running on 5 hours sleep was hard enough as it was.

I had a brilliant night. Big huge thanks to Jo, opening up your lovely home to us is a big deal and you went to tonnes of trouble (lovely to meet your daughter too!)

  3. Yep, drinking has put me off drinking.

We just had leftover sauces on baked potatoes for dinner (and profiteroles and custard for dessert! So I think my hardwork was all well worth it, yay), nice. I could make a fortune if I went into business with them - would anyone like to invest in Spud Hut?

  4. I have to say that technically it was a full packet of jaffa cakes, although it might have been originally in a carton that contained two packets. it was still a complete unit.

    Defenders of the jaffas unite.

  5. It was open, though - there might feasible have been one gone, perhaps shared on the way over? Giggle.

  7. Ok, just to clarify. The jaffa's were originally in a two pack. The pot noodle was not open per say. It actually burst a bit and I now have chow mein smell in my man bag. The Vita grain bars are healthy, so fair do's to me there trying to keep people healthy. You can't beat pistachios and the orange will quench your thirst after eating too many pistachios. All in all the perfect bunch of food to bring to any party.

If I come to your house, I may bring: a boiled egg, pretzels, a chocolate mouse, pumpkin seeds, and the poshest of biscuits, Viscounts.

  9. Ok, I have to apologise, the Jaffa's were NOT open, I know because I just opened them. And my daughter and I are now very happy, I don't know what anyone was complaining about, it was a gift that has kept on giving. Thanks Idiot :)

  11. Heh, someone taught my Granny the phrase 'with his two hands hanging' and she uses it repeatedly, with relish.

Aileen, you're his mum. I'm afraid it's your job to provide for him (be thankful if you don't have to do his washing), except on special occasions, when I hope you get Brought Out To Dinner.
